Without having some reference to the size of the elephant itself, it is very difficult to judge ivory.

Still, I would guess they are around 120 pounds each.

I have no idea of what happened to the buffalo. I got that photo from a book.

I'd like to hunt the buff that did that to him....

If I am not mistaken, the elephant is one out of Kruger named Mandleve, characterised by the shape of the tusks and that tear out of his left earwho died a few years ago. ALF would probably know the size of the ivory offhand, as he has a database tracking that.
