Ok guys, where did you guys get your Culling belts. I know New Guy has his beautiful belts, but what else is out there? Where did you get yours?
Double Rifles, This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as bolt rifle. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

BenKKI use a Trader Keith culling belt if I anticipate much shooting. I also have a good zip-up pouch from Texas Hunt Co.

timg953I had Andy's leather.com. Make a pair of culling belts for me. They were the first he had made but they were both good and each a different design. He specializes in Ching slings and butt cuffs.

BEGNOI bought a canvas and leather one at DSC from Galco, under $90 as I recall. I believe it is new to their line.

pagosawingnutI've got a leather one from Murray leather and a canvas one from Cabela's. In a humid climate I like the canvas one a bit better.

BwannaThe culling belts by Trader Keith are very nice, but they're made in Italy and they sell quick. Stopped by yesterday and he was out of all calibers except the .500. Plus, they only work for rimmed cartridges. .458, .375 and the like may slip right through.

505EDRichard Hill made the best culling belt rig I have ever seen...Super nice! I bought the Texas Hunt co PH belt...I like it pretty well.

BenKKBwanna, that puzzles me, because my canvas culling belt, from Trader Keith, has closed-bottom loops, and I use it quite happily with .450/.400 3" NE, .416 Rigby, .458WM and .500NE - that is, the one culling belt for those calibres.
I also prefer canvas in the humidity.

Having the extra rounds, my old first Sargent use to say "it's better to have and need not, then need and not have" besides, it's just a Africa thing, having a belt full of rounds.

BwannaBennKK - yes the canvas one has loops that are closed on the bottom. They are nice and work for both nitro and regular calibers.

By deduction, and possibly wrong due to never having so much as seen a 9.3x74mm cartridge, knowing that the round is similar to .375H&H, and knowing that is the parent case to the .458WM that does fit, I would say it likely would fit. Well, that's my convoluted guess.
Most of the time I have no need for my twenty round culling belt - but now and then we manage to get ourselves into a right bomb-up with a mob of fence-wreckers.

retreeverHere is the Texas Hunt Co. 10 round design,
the difference is that you can grab pairs of bullets if need be! I carry 14 rounds 10 in belt, 2 in double, and 1 in left and right pocket (solids) trackers have 10 more in pak.

Well ... sometimes something goes seriously wrong; that or a buffalo just gets his adrenalin up and it takes an excessive number of rounds to put him down. I carry two 6 round slides + 2 in the rifle.

The 9.3X74R cartridge is significantly slimmer than the 375H&H case. Any non-elastic loop that will fit the .458WM is likely to be too large in diameter to hold the 9.3 securely.

BenKKGot it. Cheers, Todd. I just had a look on Trader Keith's website, and in place of the culling belt that I have, it says that a new product is coming. I wonder what it will be like.

465H&HTake a look at the one Westley Richards sells. I have one and really like it. It holds 20 rds but you don't need to use all of them if you don't need them. It is open bottomed canvas and is very wide which makes it very comfortable to wear. When I wore extra rounds on my pants belt, I couldn't wait to take them off. Wit the WR belt, I often forget I have it on. The down side is that since it is so wide it is difficult to hang anything else on it.

SevensThis one isn't quite as classy as the leather ones posted above, but it worked really well and holds a lot of rounds.

I talked to guys at galco, there is not customization on theirs. I asked to get one for my son, he will be shooting a 7x57 and he wants one. Also, I'm not sure I can fit 9.3x74 and get them to hold.
