MARK H. YOUNGWE'LL BE IN BOOTH 446 IN RENO
Next week is the BIG show so come by and visit and plan a safari. Depending on species and country there still is quite a bit of quota left for 2010. Lion seem tobe particularly available and even some leoaprds with top operators.
I'll be around all weekend if anyone needs to make an appointment for next week or just wants to talk hunting.

Mark, in this day and age - What is the best price for a lion/leopard combo with a good operator in Zim/Tanz/Zambia or Moz ? Could leave with a couple of days notice !

Bwana MojaIt could be done on a couple days notice if you have your gun information and ammo on file with your agent. That process does take a little time depending on your outfitter and his "relationships" with the authorities at the airport where you're arriving. Three years ago I embarked on a trip all across Africa, just waking up in the morning and deciding where i wanted to go.
I was never denied entrance into any country with my weapons and ammo---even at the spur of the moment. No paperwork was filled out prior to my arrival to some of these places. With the help of my outfitter at the airport, a smile from yours truly, and a few gifts everything got in. So yes it is possible to do on a couple days notice, but I wouldn't recommend it for a first or even second timer.
It's advisable to learn the basic greetings in their language, and make your passport look like it's broken in, if you're gonna do the two-day thing.
In Africa a little kindness at the airport can go a long way. You tangle with the ticket and reservation agents there, it might be a long time before you see your guns and luggage again.
