Mike SmithRhino horn trade/cites
m putting this here as well as a couple other was against it for a long time but have come around in that I think at least temporarily it is one of many things needs to happen. Please go and support the rhino. Dosnt look like the ANC are going to get their heads out of their collective arses in time to make a difference so I think it falls on us to do what we can.

" ... South Africa sits on as much as 40 tonnes of stock piled rhino horn worth close to a US$800,000 on current prices ... ... ... horns on the Black market currently fetch $65,000/kg ... "
40 tonnes at $800,000 comes to $20/kilo ... there seems to something wrong with the math there. No?
