Re: A dilemma 9,3x62 & 9,3x64
Cole,
I shoot a 9.3x62, 338 Win and a 375 for medium bores, a 416, 404 and 470 on the bigger side and a 300 H&H and 308 on the low side..Thats today, tomorrow might change all that, I am very flippent on guns and calibers, here today gone tomarrow, but I won't vari much from the above, more likely to add on.

Ray , you sound like a fan of medium bores. I'd rather use a medium bore over a .300 mag. I use a Rem. 350 mag., a CZ 9.3x62 and 375h&h mod. 70. I think big bores start at .40 and up.Whats your favorite medium ?

Mike,

Get rid of the 9.3x64 and get a 416 Rigby. I'll trade you mine for the 9.3x64.

Tim

Here is a group I shot with the 416 Rigby when I was getting ready for my last trip to Zim. 100 yards with a Leupold 1.5-5x heavy duplex scope. These are 400 grain solids at just over 2,400 fps. Should all be touching, but I pulled one shot high.
