MLindsaySupposed rabies in Namibia
I just returned from a hunt in Namibia and there were dead kudu in the bush, along with a few other animals. One of the landowners in the area is a Phd biologist, now retired, he sent 2 skulls from freshly dead kudu and they were negative for rabies. He says it is anthrax for sure.
Now that's more beleivable. The previous report stating that kudo get rabies from thorns was just too far fetched! Now about those "other animals", were any carvavores? THAT would put a whole new slant on the rabies scare.
