snowhoundHard facts on elephant poaching?
I may have a chance to get the ear of a sort of Chinese celebrity who can influence millions of normal Chinese people.
I am going to ask him to spread the truth about where the ivory chopsticks and status trinkets actually come from and to do this I would like to have facts from a credible source about numbers of ele killed, number of rangers killed by poachers etc.
Any tips, links and suggestions are welcome!
Thanks!

ledvmSnowhound,
Elephant poaching is at a high for sure. There are so many dead elephant in some areas, the carcasses have had a net positive effect on the lion populations.
