infinitoInfinito Lucky draw hunt - Nr. 1 off 2013 - Funds collected
Ladies and Gentleman,
It is with great pleasure that I can herewith report that one of our AR members "Hasher" took me up on the offer for a second place in the annual AR draw. "Blank" of course "winning" first place.
Gary already had a safari booked with another outfit, and me and him, together with the other outfitter, worked out a deal where Gary would spend two days with Infinito hunting for, well, whatever we could find that Gary did not already have.
I'm sure Gary will post a little report some or other time, but although we hunted or buds off, only got to get a very good Mountain Reedbuck to show for our efforts.
The good news is, however, that "Infinito" and "Hasher" managed to collect $600.00 for the Professional Hunter in need cause, and we both decided to donate the money to
Anthony Howland, the young man that lost his arm due to a N.D. in Zimbabwe while guiding a client.
I know it is not much, but it will go some ways to help Anthony with his visits to South Africa where he gets his rehabilitation treatment.
Now it is only Joel's hunt that is forth coming, and I am hoping to then donate all the money in one go!
Thanks for AR for jumping onto this the way you did back then.

David HulmeYou're a good man Charl, hope to meet you one day.

Looking foward to our hunt with great anticipation. Gear is assembled, the rifles zero'd and shooting well, and the wife is freeing up the purse strings even more than we talked about.
That trip of hers to Prague and Paris must really be adding up, if she lets me add more trophies without even blinking!!!

Three weeks to go and one long plane ride ahead.

I promise a hunt report soon. One down side to a safari is the 14+ hour days when you get home to make up the lost work.
Charl put me on ashore on a Klippie and a Vallie but I was not diled in for the ranges where we were so shame on me. He so got me ashot on a duiker and I promptly shot under him as he was a lot closer than I thought.
As soon as I am able I am comi g back for another hunt with Charl. It was a great time and a great hunt with some poor shooting by me.
I hope you got that monster leopard off that fresh kill we found.
