Peter Dissing Olesen to Hunting Africa
19 mins ·
HUNTERS NEEDED FOR 3 "PROBLEM ANIMALS" in Zimbabwe (Buffalo, Croc and Hippo).
PRICE ONLY $10.500 for 5 hunting days, incl. all 3 animals!!
The Hunt takes place on a 1000.000 acre concession and is 100% WILD. It is a basic tented hunting camp. This is as authentic and raw as it gets - Just like hunting in Africa in the old days!
This is really a chance of a lifetime and you only pay for what you shoot ($3.500 per. animal). Should you be so very unlucky not to shoot any animals, we kindly ask for $1000 to cover our cost for transport, accommodation and catering.
The extremely low price is due to the fact that these animals are crop raiders and/or have killed people in South-East part of Zimbabwe (Bubye Valley). So far these 3 PAC (Problem Animal Control) licences have been released.
The offer applies after the first served principle.
2 hunters may also share the cost/animals of this hunt.
PRICE INCLUDE:
Accommodation (including beer, wine & soft drinks)
Services of a Big Game PH
Services of a tracker
Arrival and departure day
Transport to/from airport
All other transport
Taxes / charges
Hunting license
PRICE DO NOT INCLUDE:
Airline tickets
Taxidermist work (NON- EXPORTABLE)
Tipping of staff
Please contact us at info@petesafaris.com for more info.

Aspen Hill AdventuresYeah, the group admin removed it. The man offering the PAC hunt wouldn't back down on his own.
Quick query elicited that National Parks Investigations Branch here is aware of it.

BushPeterDoesn't seem legit. Crop raiding and killing people in Bubye Valley? Is there any agriculture and villages in Bubye?

FjoldI just tried to go to petesafaris.com and it says the site is disabled/down for maintenance.

Russ GouldTo my knowledge, the only buffalo in this area are on properties within the Bubye Valley Conservancy. Most of the farms in the conservancy were "repurposed" back in the land reform days, but a couple managed to hang on. One was Drummond, the other was his neighbor Collett. Collett subsequently folded, a couple of years ago, due to encroachment/political pressure etc. At the time, he had a growing herd of buffalo on his ranch. He also had some great bass fishing! My guess is whoever now calls the shots on that property needs some nyama and a dollar bill salad. But there were no hippo or crocs in that dam. Perhaps when the river is flowing there are a few left. Drummond had a large lake as well so perhaps that's where the hippo and croc are, but knowing him I can't see him selling anything cheap. AFAIK Drummond is still in residence thanks to his support for the ruling political party both before and after they came to power. In any case this Pete guy is just another South African wannabe hunting illegally in Zim so not Drummond. Maybe some of Collet's buffalo have gotten loose. In any case, no way shape or form is this "Wild Africa", it's all gone communal so most of the mammals in those parts are domestic cattle, goats, sheep, and dogs.
