Blackpowder Buff in Zambia

As promised here is a picture of Butch from Union City TN with his 41" cape buff taken at our ranch in Zambia very recently.

Butch used a [ Pedersoli Kodiak Mark IV double rifle in .45-70 ] with the new Hodgdon Triple 7 blackpowder substitute and "Buff Hunter" pure lead bullets.

The only caveat with blackpowder is to get up close and mean, I guess that is what dangerious game hunting is all about, nothing over 60 yards in general is what true buff hunters strive for !!
