Just a good FYI article on canned hunts and the US brokers that sell them.

Nice story by an avid anti-hunter. Real helpful!

Thanks for the post; the article was dated 1998.

We have discussed canned lion (and leopard) hunts here on many occasions, and the overwhelming consensus is that they are to be avoided.

We even had an operator in the Free State try to offer such hunts here; in short order, he realized he was among the wrong group of people.

That doesn't change the truth.

Unethical PH's outfitters and their lackeys are ruining the business.

No one likes to be conned. Why are you advocating that hunters should ignore caution and not check references???

What the heck is up with that??

The last several paragraphs in the link give a pretty good idea as to what the author thinks about hunting and where his heart is.We all know that there are some unscrupulous DG hunts taking place in RSA and we also know enough to make our own decisions about how we wish to hunt.We also for the most part have more experience and first hand knowledge of what the situation is "over there" than does someone who has merely read about it, such as yourself.
And since we now broach the subject of yourself, let me say that I find you the single most paranoid ,opinionated and gutless coward that ever tried to hide behind the anonymity of the internet.Your unwavering commitment to ignorance is matched only by your devisiveness.
I am quite sure that your father, if he is still alive, daily wishes he would have jerked off in an ant bed and allowed them to consume that which eventually became you.
Saeed will not ban you, but do us all a favor and find another hobby......eyedoc

WOW you must truly be a nut.

If everyone was so aware of the scams perpetrated by a lot of shady outfits, these guys would no longer be in business. But they are so people should always excercise caution.

Whether or not I am banned is not within my control. Banning me has been a useful tool for the scammers though.

This post is proof that recreational writing should be outlawed. 1st Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees "free speech" but this author needs a review by his peers before he publishes any more trash like this.

I don't support the author however he does make some valid points.
