larryshoresLocally, they have been supposed to go to the baggage service office for years. They might have made it 1 out of 5 times.
I am going turkey hunting to Texas tomorrow. I guess we will get to see first hand.

Bama15This isn't really any different than what they have now . Them putting a zip tie on it is new but I've always had to pick them up at the baggage service office and show them my drivers license.
Thanks Les. Note that that they said ammo including case not to exceed 5kg or 11 pounds. Most of us have understood the airline rules as 5kg of ammo not including the case but that has been open to discussion and debate.
Between this and Delta's refusal to transport any of the big 5, why fly Delta?

The only change that matters.

Russ Gouldput the ammo in the gun case ... if the 5kg thing is a problem. putting it in a separate case will often trigger an additional bag fee.

I always print out the regs that stat is is ok to put ammo in with gun and it has come in handy a couple times as many airline employees, TSA, and CBP do not know the rules/laws

BuffHunter63Having the latest copy of the airlines and TSA's rules on hand is definitely a great idea!
