tracker Binos
Went hunting last summer and our tracker had a really crummy pair of binoculars which according to the PH would make the aerage man go blind so thought it would be nice to get him a good pair. Any suggestions of reasonably priced binos would be greatly appreciated.

What about the Steiner Compact Safari Binoculars in 8x22, Sierra Trading Post's latest flyer has them for $89.95.

...I`d go with Russians - reliable, robust and quite a piece for that kinda money:

Trackers do not need binoculars. They see better without them than the average white man can with them.

But, it is very kind of you to consider buying him a pair and I am sure he would appreciate it. Go with Bill's recommendation.

Hey 7mm,
I just got back from a trip in KZN that my PH had asked that I take a few pairs of inexpensive binos for the "boys". I bought 2 pair of Burris 8X32's off of e-bay, paid around $65 a pair. They were not bad optics and they loved them.
