Minef for Ministry of water and forest is not in charge of fauna.
Look for MINFOF : forrestry and fauna.

Hello JB,

there was a trophy fee list for resident and non resident hunters on this site (minef.cm). As well as prices for the permit de grande chasse, etc...(for Cameroun)

I had to pay 1.000.000 CFA for a Bongo a few days ago and was sure the government price is 800.000 CFA. Do you know of a site where I can verify the price ?

Hi Leupoldo

I’ll make some inquiries.
A fervent connaisseur of Cameroun is Bill Campbel, he is almost jinxed. Sure He exactly know what are the fares in Cameroon.

His Email bill@wyodata.com
Bill in Cameroon

I'll go and search.

TROPHY FEES CAMEROON

You are right with the fees.

the trophy for bongo is

local 60 000 cfa = 1200 $
resident (foreigner living in Cameroon 800 000 CFA = 16 000 $

tourist 1000 000 CFA = 20 000 $

Notice that some outfitters are cheating suckers passing by with outrageous prices

bongo fee 2000€ = 3300$

bongo fee 2600 € = 4300$

Nice report. I will go through the report later this evening. It looks like Faro Coron.
I friend of mine had this area years ago.

Thank you JB, that is the information I was looking for. I paid the right price for the Bongo.
