NitroXAfrican Hunter No.3 of 2005 - What's up with this?
What's up with the African Hunter magazine these days?
I received issue number 3 of 2005 has three pages had big sections of blank space, but managed to get in advertisements (of course!) and a photo on page 27. The rest is blank space. Page 30 and 31 were similar, blank space surrounding a couple of trophy photos and one unlucky advertiser.
From such an expensive magazine ..... a bit of QC please.
Was my copy an anomaly and just a printers mistake or was it right through the whole issue? Was this issue one of the old Zim printed ones or a new USA printed one?

Bill CMy copy of The African hunter is fine, and looks like another GREAT issue. Including an article by Rick [and Kahti] Klimes

Paul TunkisI've had no quality problems with the magazine, just getting it is my problem! I emailed them twice this year to ask why the issue I should have received a couple of months ago hasn't arrived! The "contact us " link on their site didn't work correctly this last time so I ended up sending an emai to the advertising sales people. They did get back to me, eventually, and I did get my magazines, eventually, but why should I have to do this twice in one year, especially since I've subscribed for several years?

<JOHAN>NitroX,
With risk of being censored by the politburo or Muttava

Sorry to hear about your problem, receiving an inferior issue of an expensive magazine is never fun. Why don’t you contact the Magazine? I think the old African hunter was better. Friends of mine who subscribes to African Hunter often experience problems with issues not arriving, or arriving very late.... Seems like it’s a quite common problem…
The only magazines about African Hunting that I read are Hatari Times and Man Magnum. Why don’t you try Double Gun Journal
Cheers

Alan BunnHey John,
From time to time, printers make these kinds of mistakes, but it rarely effects the entire print run, especially now that African Hunter is printed in the States.
If you will send me your mailing address, I will have a replacement copy sent your way. Just mail me here at : eEditor@african-hunter.com
What does concern me is that you have only just received #3 of 2004. You shold have gotten this issue months ago and already have #4 and #5 in your hands. However, once a magazine is posted it is under the control of the various postal services and we have no way to track it. Said postal services may also have anti-gun, anti-hunting employees who sabotage delivery.
Anyhow, send me a mailing address and I will sort it out like I always do.
Cheers,
Alan
