reddy375Will hunters still roam earth in 20 years!
As a take off on the discussion [will elephants roam the earth in 20 years posted here], I thought this would be a thought provoking discussion!!
I hope I am wrong but I personally doubt there will be much opportunity to hunt wild game, due to a whole bunch of reasons such as:
Less places to hunt
Less game to hunt
Gun control
Trophy import issues
Anti hunting sentiment
Fewer youngsters coming into the sport (I have lots of friends who hunt, but except for one none of their sons are into hunting one bit!)
Rising cost of hunting
No place to display $$$ trophies
And with the modern generation hooked to immediate gratification, fewer people (especially those coming into the sport) will want to understake hunts for true wildgame. I think high fence/preserve hunting will be the majority of hunting.
So hunt while you can

African Hunters QuestMost certainly.
Gun control has actually activated more hunters and gotten more people into the field here in SA.
Game farming is growing faster than any other area of Agriculture too. I cant speak for the rest of the world, but hunting is going string and getting stronger.
No amount of anti hunting bullshit is going to override millions of years of inborn hunting instinct. Man is a hunter, and will always be a hunter.
When the internet and wall street collapse, hunters will rule the earth.

bwana cecilI don't know what tomorrow holds let alone 20 yrs from now.
But I do definatley agree with the "so hunt while you can"quote.
I got my wife to get her crystal ball out & summon up all of her dead ancestors & ask them about it. Their responce was "how the hell would we know? We're dead". Then thankfully everything went quiet again.
