cable68Started My Malaria Prophylaxis Today
One of those signs the trip is coming up, starting the anti-malaria meds. Next step gathering up the gear for packing prep. Off to Cameroon 2 weeks from today.

CaracalWhich zone are you heading to?
It's quite dry in Cameroon this year. Out of town there are already no mosquitoes at this time.

crbutlerGood luck!
Last year I did not see a single fly or mosquito. It was quite dry then and I am hearing around here it's dryer this year...
I assume you are after Eland?

DieseltruckerWhat med specifically are you taking? Have you used it before, and any side effects?

cable68I'm taking no chances with malaria, so definitely continuing the meds; besides I like the Larium induced dreams.
Not certain which unit it is, but the hunt was booked with Celtic Safaris through Arjun Reddy. Main quarry is LDE, and roan. Haven't really made my mind up about the 4 B/C available. Thinking bushbuck and kob, then just see what comes up for the other 2.

BuffHunter63The anticipation must be reaching a crescendo. For me, that is almost as much fun as the hunt itself.
Have a great hunt.
