cummins cowboyAR logo knives that where made up
some time ago there was a guy who was makeing knives for members here, they even had the option of putting the screen name on the knife. these where supposed to remain sharp like no other and be awesome, so if I may ask anyone that got one how did they do in field use??

Dev MoringI lent mine to one of the trackers quartering my buffalo last June and he wanted to keep it. I don't know how well the edge would have held up, but it worked great.

JTHuntThey were an EXCELLENT knife, really easy to sharpen, yet held an edge and were light, easy to carry as a pocket knife - all round one of the best knives I've ever owned. Mine "grew legs" in a hunting camp in Africa. I would loive to have another - where does one find them?

FjoldI got busy and put off ordering one until it was too late. I'd like to contact the maker and get one.

ROSCOEI just got mine in the mail last week. It took a few months but the knife was worth the wait. Very sharp and well made. His offer for AR members is a spectacular deal too. Do a search on the AR knive offer and you will find the link and password to order the knife. If you are looking for a great hunting knife I would jump on this one.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! UplandhunterMy knife cleaned a gemsbuck, kudu, and a blue wildebeast while in Africa. This November in a three day period it cleaned nine deer. I finally sharpened the blade after deer season. I have never cleaned an animal with a knife that sharp. I hope Tim does another special. I would buy another, and several friends all want one also.
24 February 2007, 03:54
ROSCOE LinkYou can order the knife and still get the AR special price right now. Per Tim's original thread, the special has not time limit.

Fulldraw Outdoor MediaBlade Tech made up some Pro Hunter knives with the names of some of the PH's, notables and crew of the Boddington on Buffalo and Boddington on Leopard DVDs. I was fortunately one of the crew who received one and I love it. They are a bit large, but hold one hell of an edge. I'm not saying this just because I own one, but it's well designed, precision crafted and you'll be hard pressed to find a higher quality knife.
Come to think of it, I think I'll order a smaller version.

Paul TunkisTried arforum and ARK2005 and nothing. I guess the offer expired. Oh well, looks like a good product.

PeterHuntermontana, try it again using different case (ie. lower case if you tried uppercase and vice versa).

Yes they do, as the have shipped a number to us in Dubai.
We have used these knives on our hunt last year, and everyone loved them.
Two of the PH who used them kept commenting on how sharp they were, and that they maintained their sharpness very well.

Die Ou JagterNow I know why I can never the 65" Kudu my PH is looking at, cause I can't see the AR logo.

You forgot to fill in the blank!

Paul TunkisPeter,
Sorry, but every combination I've tried has failed to work. Caps, lower case even reversing the user name and password, nada. Are you sure this offer is still good?

On the right-hand side of the page at the bottom is the link you need to click, not the log-in on the left.
It says "Special" and give you
this link that will ask for your log in.

ROSCOEI was able to get in...make sure you are looking at the Accurate reloading special.

Tim_WegnerTo All AR Forumites!
RE:The AR Forum Knife Special
The AR Forum Knife special is still a go for as long as you want us to supply them.
The only change (unfortunately) will be an updated package price to reflect the 2007 price increases.
With the cost of everything going up the way it has the past few years we had to raise prices accross the board.
I will make sure the website order form/link/data is updated as soon as possible (If it has not been already updated.)
One last thing!
Please be patient with us regarding delays with your orders. We have been back logged since the holidays! We have ramped up to increased production considerbly by making larger runs but it will take a bit of time to catch up as larger batches take more time to produce.
That said we will do our best to get the batches done and out the door!
Optionally you can call our 800 number
1-877-331-5793 to order or email us from the website. If you have any problems you can email me at tim@blade-tech.com. It wouldn't hurt to cc: mikey@blade-tech.com he runs the cutlery dept.
Cheers & happy hunting to all!
