SunshineThabatholo, South Africa for buffalo?
Thabtholo, 40,000 hectares, near Thabazimbi seems to be quite an interesting place with a good number of buffalos. Have some of you hunted buffalo there? I would love reading some reports.

I'll bite. Never been there, but a quick look at the website, I think you can do better.
Call Mark Young. He frequents these boards, knows everyone, and can have some deals. He's sent me on a couple amazing trips and we have a couple more lined up - Ele in Zim in '25 and Leopard in Zambia in '26
The site I looked at doesn’t show buffalo hunting

Mark hunts Thaba Tholo for many years with his mainly European Clients.
Great Buffalo wand Warthog Genetics are there.
Thaba Tholo Game Breeders are next Door in the Area.
Buffalo look great.
And probably no surprise that Europeans hunt there.
Nothing wrong with that.
But for a proper buffalo hunt, I would still prefer a wild area.

Charlie64.
Mark Dedekind Safaris. Mark visits the Dortmund show in Germany every year and has been doing so for years. Speaks fluent German. Makes a lot of European bookings. Last time I spoke with him he was selling 7 or 8 days buff hunting inc a buff at under USD 10.000,-. He also has a big concession in Zululand which used to run under the name of Zululand Safaris with a BEE partner.
Nice enough guy and only heard good about him and his business.
