From time to time, the topic comes up here about what travel agent to use. I certainly haven't used all of them, but for my upcoming trip to Namibia I used the services of Kathi Klimes at World Travel, and want to report that her prices were competitive, but more important than that, her service has been superlative! I just received my tickets today, and along with the tickets, was the most comprehensive information packet I've ever received. My hat's off to Kathi. She's now planning my wifes and my 30th wedding anniversary trip.

One time I was concerned about the airline price to Namibia. Posted it here and Kathi came to the rescue with a very competitive price.

The Safari ended up falling apart because seven guys backed out. I have not forgotten about Kathi and she will be the first person I talk to for a ticket to Africa in the future.

And Kathi, since I am sure you are reading this, this time I am not going to depend on a group. I will have all my ducks in a row by 2006.

This is dumb question but here goes: are there any barriers to me using Kathi, or any other non Australian travel agent to books flights between Oz and other countries eh Oz-Harare?

Mike, I can't answer that question for you. Why don't you email Kathi at kathi@wldtravel.com That way you'll get it from her directly.

Absolutely agree 100% Mike, I'm on my third trip w/Kathi and each one has different variables and logistical challenges. Kathi is patient and great to work with.

In fact, thanks to the special fares out of Dulles (DC, within driving distance) in July, Kathi was able to save me $1600 on the three tickets...and we got seats on the 2nd level "bubble" on the 747. Couldn't ask for more!
