Hi Buzz,

In Government concessions Roan are considered classic animals and the daily rates and concession fees make them expensive.

On private you can remove the concession fee and daily rates will be from $1.000 - $1,500 a day depending on area. 10 days should be suffice.

The trophy dee floats around $6,000 for Roan and $4,500 for Buff.

Chose your area well as few can offer both.

Cheers

Hi Buzz,

I am hunting in BENIN, west africa. We do hunt Roan and west african savannah buffalo ( not cape buffalo). Very nice place and unique animals. Here is the link of my web site, if you want to have a look. You will find all the details.

Christophe,

Please tell me more about Congo. I've hunted close to the border on the Tanzanian side twice before.

Morning Lavaca,

It is a real tropical rain forest. The area is located on the border of Cameroon and just over the great Odzala-kokoua national park.
Bongo, forest sitatunga and dwarf buffalo are the main species.
Have a look at some details here: http://www.huntersguidesafaris...n/pages/benin/congo/
I am going there early next July.
Best Christophe
