TNJohnMessage from inside Zim
We know that everyone out there is anxiously waiting for some news.
The thoughts of :
All the hard work in winning this election coming to nought
Facing the prospect of another term for Zanu
Threats of violence being issued by the state all around the country
are a huge worry.
News from a meeting with a trusted operative, shows some light.
We are assured of the following..
Mugabe and his Government is finished and it is only a matter of time before they capitulate
The worst thing we could do now is any form of uprising that would give them an excuse to unleash their violence
There are plans for passive resistance in the near future
Maybe we do not appreciate enough the way African politics work – they certainly were right when they said that Makoni had no grass roots support! We should just keep in touch with them and see where we can assist
The 7 members of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission that have been arrested are all members of the ruling ZanuPF. This is part of an elaborate plan where they will get these poor guys to “confess†to being bribed by MDC officials to rig the results. Obviously in line with all the unbelievable propaganda they are putting out through the media at the moment.
The next plan appears to be ZanuPF paying some thugs to initiate violence whilst wearing MDC T Shirts and shouting MDC slogans.
The one area where we can definitely be effective is by exposing Zanu’s moves before they take place.

SaeedAttached is a confidential list with explanatory footnote supplied by a senior member of the Zimbabwe military, who is extremely annoyed and frustrated by the ongoing attempts of the military to achieve the impossible, and provoke a reaction from the mass of Zimbabweans who voted for the end of Mugabe's regime.
Please give this the widest coverage since it is essential that the regional and international community see the extent of the determination by the military to subvert the expressed will of Zimbabweans.
Despite such efforts, it is increasingly clear, both within and outside Zimbabwe, that there is a determined resolve to see an end to Mugabe's regime, which no amount of dirty tricks can prevent.

In total, 200 serving senior officers of the armed forces will be participating in the exercise. They will be commanding other war veterans and Zanu pf thugs.
The teams will be deployed on 8th April 2008 to campaign for RG Mugabe in the run off under the guise of war veterans. With the exception of two, all the deployed officers are senior serving officers of the armed services. It is understood that Lt. Gen. Bryan ChickReading these reports remind me of reviewing after action reports filed by members of our A-team: made you wonder if we were in the same fight. we just returned 7april and saw no evidence of violence in Harare, on the road or at the airport. now, that may change if there is a runoff since Zanu-pf has a record of voter intimidation. The results from MDC indicate MDC won a majority in Parliment and if the same ratio held true Morgan also won the presidential race; something that ZANU is disputing although, as late as 7April, the Electoral commission had not released the results. The presidential ballots were collected from the polling places and transported to Harare while the parlimentary results were posted at each polling place.
