How old is John Sharp?

He is a legend. He is all things Africa. How old is he? Reminds me of Hulk Hogan!

I read 'Facing Down Fear' earlier this year. Good read and insightful into the person of John Sharp.
Never met him but would like to spend 30 mins talking to him if I ever get the chance.
