G'day all. As a news guy to the AR forum I'm looking for some help. I would like to find some new .500 Jeffrey brass. I got some from bertrums here in aussie but the quality I am sorry to say is very bad(rebate different thickness,thin walls,etc). Does anyone know were I can get better brass???

Are you located in Australia? Your post suggests you are but there are no details about where you are. If you are in Aust, I can put you in touch with the importer of Horneber brass and you would be hard pressed to find better brass!

Sent you a reply to your email today about the Horneber brass option and like Bwanna, I also think it might be the way forward.
Just bought a stack of 450/400 the other day.

John Clapham, who is also a very good gunsmith, is the importer for Horneber brass. You can catch him on 0429990067. Don't be put off if there is no answer as John will return missed calls.
