If you haven't been on the Hunting Report home page for a while, you might not have seen the 85x83 lb. elephant taken in southern Tanzania this year.

Click on the photo for an enlargement. It's a real nice bull with the long, thin ivory characteristic of the area. Of course, at over 80 lbs. it's not all that thin.

Instead of posting a link why don't you just cut and paste the story directly, that way we can avoid all of the distractions on that/your website.

We think our web site has a lot to interest our fellow hunters. There are news bulletins on everything from outfitter bankruptcies to travel issues. We have videos, photos and hunting reports posted from hunters who've been all over the world.

A lot of hunters use our site as a research tool to determine who has the best hunt for them. They can get a handle on who and what areas are producing the species of their interest.

Most of the feedback we've received has been favorable. I'm sorry if you find it distracting, but will admit there's a lot to see.
