I'm honored to have sat where Will was myself back in Sept.
The Hulmes are to be respected & honored in my book.
At first, I thought I was going to be Ridgeback poop. Those 2 are BIG!
LORD, let my bullets go where my crosshairs show.

Bwana cecil, what are you hunting? Keep an eye out for a big Leopard for me!lol
Will do you have any more pictures from the Arda area for us to look at. It gets me all excited looking at all of those buffalo. That one big one really stands out on the front right side of the piucture!

I like the night life Will!! I better not let my wife see that or she might not let me go. HAHA
Thanks for the pictures. I am sooo pumped and ready to go.
Will,
Is that Marc "Rambo" in the photo at the dinner table? I think he is shrinking. Tell Thierry they have to feed the appie every now and again....
I really enjoyed these photos.Great shots. Especially enjoyed the old ones featuring the kids. This post ought to be resurrected and added to at least once a year.
We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Rambo indeed. Son of John Rambo. He's between Moz and the Zambezi Valley these days.

Rambo indeed. Son of John Rambo. Pic is 2010, a full year before you met him. He's between Moz and the Zambezi Valley these days.

ScriptusDavid, why wait a year, put those photos into a book. It will become a real bit of "Hunting Africana."

R.JollyHey Dave
Hope you are well.
I was sitting by the road on the Arda boudary with Hammond last week with Buzz, when a Landrover came along and out got your old man.
What is it about bumping into you Hulmes miles from anywhere ?
He stayed for a brief chat and it was a pleasure to meet him.
The reason that we were waiting on the road was that we had just managed to split a herd of buff that were crossing into Hammond and we had seen a monster that Buzz estimated at 46"-47".
As could be expected he was in the half of the herd still in Arda and we had driven on and waited in the hope that they would continue to follow their friends into Hammond.
As could also be expected they didn't.
Your dad updated us on your progress so good luck on the rest of the trip.
Regards
Rob

David HulmeThanks for the comments friends. Good to hear from you Rob, glad you got to meet George, ja we Hulmes tend to pop out of the woods all over the place...Sorry you didn't catch up with that brute but hope you had a good hunt anyway. I know you did...Thanks for the encouragement, things have been hectic lately but good hectic - moving into a new home, writing up a storm, making a cricket comeback etc...With the borderline on my mind the whole time, of course... Anyway, what is done is done and what will be will be. I'll spend some time online soon and get everyone fully updated on everything...
Best regards Rob, Dave
