N'gagiNews from Kyler Hamann
Shumba and I got an e-mail from Kyler while he was changing camps in Zimbabwe. He is hunting with Russ Broom, and took a nice big bull elephant last week. He didn't tell us HOW big, but he said it was well over 10,000 Lbs, and took 20 men six hours to skin it and cut up...
He's headed out to the Songo Camp with Rory to look for Waterbuck and a Leopard. Sounds like he's having a good time, though it's hot and humid.
He said he's sore from the elephant hunt. Anyone who has been on one of the famous Kyler Hamann death marches, you KNOW he worked for this one.
Should get some good stories and photos upon his return!

T.CarrMark,
Good to hear the news from Kyler. I suspect he is having a great time with Rory. We certainly enjoyed our hunt with Rory
It should be a little cooler at Songo camp (if he's moving from Sengwa camp).
Regards,
Terry

bwanamrmGlad to hear Kyler got his bull! The only thing that bothers me is if chasing elephant down wore Kyler to a frazzle when he hikes up and down the sunny slopes of California hunting pigs...what the hell is it gonna do to me?????
BillC is in Zim right now as well, hunting for ele cows with Buzz Charlton. It will be interesting to hear from him regarding his experiences when he gets back.

Shumbabwanamrm,
Is BillC hunting with Buzz out of the Big5 Safari camp in North Chewore?
That is where N'gagi and I are headed for our buffalo/plainsgame hunt this August.
I hunted there in October 2001 and saw a lot of elephant (as well as a 41" buff that I introduced to my 375H&H)

. Can't wait to get back.
