Anyone tried the new Barnes MRX bullet on African plains game yet? I like the design but have not heard much about it yet.

Personally, to me it seems counterintuitive to put the majority of the weight in the back end of the bullet.

You'd think that was a guarantee to tumble.

I'd like to see what other folks say. I'm through with being a Barnes new product "early" adopter. My hunting time is too precious to me right now, I'll stick with stuff I know works.

Check one of my previous posts in my Last Safari. My wife shot 2 kudu and a giraffe and I shot a bushbuck with the MRX 180gr in the Federal Factory load in 308 WCF.
