I think I remember that you posted the number of elephant related human deaths in Zim in June.

Now that the year is virtually over, how many people in 2005 were reported killed by elephant in Zim? And was this less or more then recent years?

If anyone has any statistics of animal related human deaths in other african countries, that would also be interesting to see.

Weeell the year ain't over yet and I have seen no definative reports for deember so for the first 11 months of 05

On new years eve 1999/2000 I was sitting with some buddies on top of Ntaba Amaba watching the lighninand we saw a distant hut take a direct hit and go up in flames- "God one - Natives Nill" was the larconic comment from one of the lads (actually it was God 5) but ever since then I cannot but help sit watching the storms in wonder... And it has been a very electrifying start to the rainyy season.

How many of those animal related deaths were to whites?
