Dallas Safari Club Convention, now one day longer...

The board of directors for the Dallas Safari Club has voted to add another day on to the convention.

Now, the show will open on Thursday January 10th at 10:00 am. It will be open Thursday -Sunday, 10-13 Jan, 2008.

Those making flight arrangements soon, should take note.

This past January, I had made reservations to attend, then ended up not being able to go. That will NOT happen this year. Got to show off my .395 Ruger pinky ring and meet RIP.

Any information concerning in which hotel the AR people will be? Am I being too anxious? Any info would be greatly appreciated. (May have to bring a bottle of Lagavulin to show my appreciation.)

Well guys, I'm in for one more...I think we will be staying at the same hotel about a 1.5 miles from the convention hall...Had a super room for our get together...
I believe it was Comfort Inn Market Center...There is also a liquor and beer store around the corner from the hotel...
Nothing like early planning...

If someone decides to book rooms early (like in a day or two), get one for me & Joyce. We're leaving early Saturday for our Australian hunt, but we'll be back in Dallas in January to enjoy the great company and see our friends. I liked where we stayed this past January, and also eating at Pappasito's. We're in !!!
