Midway clearance ammo....
For those who might be interested Midway currently has a fair selection of African style hunting ammo in clearance at small but significant savings. One that I noticed was Fed. Cape-Shok .375 300 gr NPs for $50. Just posting for general info.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

It's strange, I've been looking for months for the Federal Cape-Shok 375H&H 300gr. TSX. I'm wondering if it's the Feds that are choking off some of the supply or if something else is going on. The demand couldn't be that great for such specialty ammo.

FWIW Barnes and Buffalo Bore .375 with 300 TSXs is available in several places but, like you, I can't find any Federal with that bullet.

I think Federal & Barnes had a parting of ways a while back.
You'll be very lucky to find any Fed Pre ammo loaded in Barnes now.

Barnes is part of the same group with Remington now. Don't know if it's Federal not wanting to help Remington or vice versa, but either way, it's not likely that you will see Federal ammo with Barnes bullets. FTR, Federal is also having a lot of problems keeping up with demand, and Safari ammo is small potatoes compared with black rifle fodder.
