JGRaiderHigh Fence Hunts
As long as it's legal, all is well IMHO. But let's face it, whether in TX, Africa, or wherever, some ranches/farms are more of a shoot than a hunt.

stradlingwhat is a high fence
what is a safari concession
what is a national park
all conservation tools
all in place to positively advance wildlife programs
all need hunters to help fund each ones specific program
consumptive tourism is a heavy lifter in species conservation and management
non consumptive tourism is important as well
just not as heavy in the dollars
we all need to work together to save this wonderful opportunity
the main point with the fence is that it's most always private as opposed to political
so in that context much more stable, predictable, and repeatable
the fenced game ranch guys breed and hunt to make sure we all have an abundance of many many species that would otherwise be in question
let us all not forget our place in the ''grand scheme'' of this thing we all say we love so much
oh and by the way if you want to save the black rhino
it may be done best by 10 fenced game ranch guys that sell em as hunts
than say 5 south african nations that put you in jail if you shoot one
if we want to debate relevant issues here we might think to argue something along that line of thought
folks and fellow hunters
as opposed to something like
what is a zoo
or say where might i go to find 1920's wild african hunting
even the zoo helps the program from time to time
1920 africa has a '' people with cell phones in it nowadays '' kind of a thing going on

boarkillerThere is distinction between fence and fence
All of us hunters can tell if we hunt 50 acres or 50000 acres.
The guys in SA, Namib and other places are good guys, sure bad apple here and there, but we should all be thankful to them for providing great, reasonable and affordable hunts ( thanks to fences ) for us, nutty hunters
