namibiahunterBefore you die...
Before you die...if you could hunt only one more animal, what would it be?
For me, it would be the Cape Buffalo (aka Mbogo, Nyati, Black Death) - and he and I have a rendezvous next year.

MacD37#1 A 100 pound elephant, in thick bush!
#2 A good Lion In thick bush, on tracks
#3 A good Leopard on Bait
I've hunted Buffalo and Hippo to the extent I have neglected those 3! Going on my 73rd year, I can't see getting them at this point! Fellows do it while you can, time flies!

billrquimbyI've taken all of the above except for bongo, mountain nyala, elephant and brown bear. Bears don't interest me, and I am no longer physically capable of what it takes to hunt mountain nyala or bongo, so it would have to be an elephant in an area where I don't have to walk far or climb mountains. The size of tusks (if any) makes no difference to me. I'm past the age of measuring my trophies with tape measures and scales.

How long have I got?

lavacaHard to decide on one; I've still got a pretty long list. Don't think I could choose something I haven't before under that limitation, however. So I would say buffalo. The one that I haven't hunted before would be elephant.
