bcolyerMy Screwed up Daily Routine!
Here it is Christmas morning.....and how screwed up I must be! What do you think is just about the first thing I do? You guessed it. Come into the computer to see what is new....what is what...who is well, dead, waiting, anxious, mad, grieving, overjoyed, perplexed, nervous, pissed-off.....or maybe just got a 'new safari' from Santa. Now, I do not post here all that much....but this damn site has become part of my daily ritual to the point that I landed here before I have even checked to see what Santa has brought. How sick is this? I think I need an intervention! How do you break this addiction? EVEN MY 6 YEAR OLD GRANDAUGHTER WILL ASK ME sometime this morning....Grandpa, what's going on in Zimbabwe? When are we going back? We went to church last night....Christmas eve service....I think I prayed for the wrong thing! I need some relief. By the way....Merry Christmas All. You bunch of Afro-sicko's. You're on this frickin' site to....aren't you.

MartyI'm on call at the hospital this weekend. Here in rural SD, travel is impossible with the storm, so here I am. My wife and I had Christmas dinner on Wednsday, since we knew it was coming.
I'm glad to have my fellow addicts for company. Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night.

Hollis PerkinsThis is my first post on the forum. I can,t think of a better day to start out. I've been a casual onlooker to this sight for a while, but since I'm retiring next week, I should be able to give it more time. I haven't been to Africa as many times as some of you guys, but I,ve had my share of good times there. I,m looking forward to many more hunts there in the future. Anyway, Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year.

BiebsHollis, enjoy retirement! This site will help, I'm sure...allowing you the time to hook up with fellow 12-step members being treated for such maladies as the dreaded Double-Rifle syndrome, "Big-Bore"itis, African homesickness, and riflemania. We may not get well, but we'll sure have fun being sick!
I retired at 55 2 years ago, and feel I've lived a lifetime in the short time since.

However....I've been home less than an hour from lots of Bison, Elk, Moose and -20 degree temp. Where am I.....On this frickin' site again. I haven't even downloaded our Yellowstone pictures yet. jetdrvrYeah, here I am at 6:08 AM EST. I need to clean my .458, but I thought I'd drop in here first...Africa has been a huge part of my life for many years. I stay caught up here. Maybe I'll return someday, but until I do, I assuage my addiction on AR.
