Quoted from the article:
Stone-Manning eventually lost support from major backers and former Democrat officials, including the Dallas Safari Club and former Obama-era BLM leaders.

Did DSC once support this idiot? Or is that a mistake in the article?

Lane, yes, they did. DSC signed onto a letter of support from AWCP. Support was rescinded this past summer. I’m no longer on the board but it only took about 30 seconds of searching to see I would not endorse her for anything.

I would like for someone from the AWCP to explain how they ever thought that person was a path forward. She seems to me the enemy — and clearly so.

Yup. Hard to understand why DSC could endorse her under any circumstance.

"DSC did sign the AWCP letter supporting the nomination but after more information became available about Ms. Stone, DSC strongly rescinded it’s support. DSC’s withdrawal of support made several national headlines, including The Washington Post, Breitbart, NBC and others."
