The article contents are total BS and outright lies. It reads exactly like verse from the anti hunting bible. It's bitterly disappointing to realise that gullible people so readily swallow this stuff. Whatever became of common sense and the ability to think and analyse ?

I was talking to a Ranger from one of the big National Parks here. Most visitors to the park have absolutely no idea how nature works. It's staggering how rapidly urbanisation has occurred, and with it the disassociation with wilderness and wildlife. So practical conservation might as well be from Mars for these people.

You know what....way more of us read this than anyone else..

Yes, it's a bunch of BS and full of falsehoods and misconceptions. I think my favorite "misconception" consistently put forth is how essentially everything is ENDAGERED!!!!!

On our last trip to Kruger, we came upon a large male lion and his bride. The cars that stopped mostly were aware that lions can be a bit on the dangerous side, but one van obviously had at least one person who did not share that view. She opened her window and put her small child on the roof of the van so that the child coud get a better view. Rather than let nature take its course, our driver moved next to the van and told the woman in no uncertain terms to get that child back inside the van. She glared at him and told him to buzz off. The lions are so cute. Yep. Urbanization and divorce from nature has happened.
