I understand that there is court cases coming up for criminal and civil charges. Some AR folks are involved, and I think everyone is sitting tight because of this. There are a lot of rumours, but I will not get into third rate hear say. One of the plaintiffs gave it straight from the horses mouth and the bottomline is the man Allegedly stole money from hunts sold from the Zim business. The detail will follow here in time.....

I have it straight from some people involved about his antics. He fleeced a lot of people . He attempted to fleece me. Perhaps the worst is what he did to the Zim PH front man. He never paid him the $7,000 for his services during the season. The PH was the easiest victim and the one who could least afford it.

When I get back from turkey hunting, I will happily post his e mails to me should anyone wish to see them.

Aubrey, tried to scam me on my hunt-got past that. The PH involved got things done and I ended up with my hunt.

There were serious troubles in camp and in Zim in particular. Yes I was involved on a first -hand basis.

As noted above there are lawsuits and possible criminal actions pending.

I find it difficult to judge a situation without being on the ground but is the Zim contact innocent in this?

aubrey -operating Pelandaba Safaris-had a management agreement with the holder of the Sengwe 1 concession .

In my opinion the Zim connection and the PH were clear and went far beyond to make sure I got my safari. Cant say enough good about them.

the only one guilty of anything in this is Kent!!!! the PH worked his ass off at his own expense to help everyone who got screwed by Kent. I don't know if he will ever see the inside of a jail but he dam sure deserves to

The Aubrey saga is still fermenting. He took $58k from two clients for last years quota and then sold the quota and had it hunted.

Funny enough, I felt slightly worried when he posted all the fleet he mentioned he was running.

I felt he need some serious financial support to be able to keep running those he mentioned.

I'm not sure but got the impression it was his Father that owned the company but as you say, it was an expensive fleet to run........ however, these companies sometimes work together & pool resources so it can often look like the fleet is bigger than it actually is.

Either way, I think he left the charter company some years ago.

I heard a rumor ( just one guys word) that Aubrey was a major factor in the Charter company going belly up. I do know that his father has been paying to bail him out with some people he defrauded on hunts.
His father did not seem to believe Aubery did anything wrong when i spoke to him concerning his activities

Paul Phelan is the PH who Aubrey screwed. Paul at his own expense took care of the clients even though Aubrey owed him a ton of money. Paul will be at DSC next week, stop by his booth, Paul Phelan Safaris and meet a hell of a guy and a great PH. Don, feel free to elaborate.

Paul spent not only his own money but a lot of time including travel to get Aubreys BS straightened out for the clients. I was on the phone with him extensively to help straighten out Seans problems after his hunt. which thanks to Pauls integrity where relatively small problems compared to some of the other clients. Paul even help with clients he had not been involved with. At one point he had spend over 900 dollars just on phone calls helping clients.

Paul Phelan and Andy Hunter made sure all the Pelendabah clients got their trophies last year. Aubrey stole all the permit and fee monies. Beware because he is still out there trying to rip people off. He tried to presale two hunts for $150,000 each but luckily the clients smelled a rat and didn't buy into it.
