My wife and I are now booked with Mokore to hunt trophy bull elephant, tuskless, and plainsgame in Zim. Zayne van der Merwe will be our PH with Neil Duckworth filming. We booked through Mark Young.

We are hunting the low veld. I wanted interaction with the villages on this hunt. Our first safari was in the Selous and the only person we saw other than the camp staff was a game department official.

It will be a long 10 months.

I hope you and the wife have a great hunt. I'm trying to get me and the misses there myself. We have had to cancel our June trip to SA due to my neck injury. But we are looking into SA for PG, then to either Zim or Moz for buff and sable in 2010. JC

2010 plans:

P.A.C. elephant with Brent Hein in Zimbabwe (Omay) in early March (hot and rainy, but I've been there and done that before). It'll be spring break for my daughter in college and I hope to take her for her second safari. I've already got seat 33C on the Delta flight from ATL to JNB and a smile on my face.

PAC ele hunt in Nyamuswa, Alan Shearing will be my PH again, hope to see Rosy and their 2 young boys as well. Taking my 500NE (if Merkel ever gets it fixed) and my 470AR. Excellent chance a 2nd ele will be available

Judge- I hate to burst your bubble, but I was able to get that seat due to my "disability" and was able to relocate you right next to the mid cabin head. You won't have to go but half a step to find releif.....

I am bringing my 470 K-gun, CZ 550 left hand in .375 from AHR, and a CZ 9.3 by 62 for my wife.

I am in St Louis right now and will not be home until 11:00 tonight. I will miss the Shoot in Hoot in Houston tomorrow, just not enough time.

Consolation prize will be a two day 600 yard highpower match 1 hour from home.
