Off to Zim in 24 hours

SteveOff to Zim in 24 hours
Off to the airport in 24 hours. Hunting buff with Russ Broom. I will be hunting with friend who’s a newby. He’s on his way today. We both have miles on different plans, thus we’re flying on different carriers. We’ll meet up in J-burg at the Afton house on Thursday. Then on to Vic Falls to spend a couple of days decompressing at the Vic Falls hotel (3 days B+B for the price of two). Sunday we’re off to Russ’s Camp.
I had to come into the office today for a customer conf call and it’s killing me! This is my third trip (first for buff) and I’m as giddy as on the first. Hard to remain focused on work, as evidenced by this post.
I’m taking my laptop and will be trying to keep a journal, as well as taking photos, so I’ll post a report when I get back.

Karl SSteve, what PH are you hunting with? This time of year, i recon it must be Rory Muil, or maybe Peter Bezuidenhoudt. If so, have a glass of red wine on me, and tell them hi/ see them soon!

gunnySteve, Tell Rory hi from Jane and Gary . We will be hunting buffalo with him for two weeks in august. You will have a great trip. Be sure to tell Rory that you like to walk them up in the hills that way you will be sure to get your excercise.
