In June of this year my wife and I hunted with Elaine and Cornie Coetzee of CEC Safaris. They have hunting rights to about 600,000 acres that border the southern boundary of Etosha Park. All along the border while I was there lions were coming under the Etosha Park fence and I chassed them for 9 days. Since I left even more lions were coming through. A few weeks after we left 2 clients from Mexico hunted with them. Elaine guided a handicapped hunter who had unbelievable luck. The day before he took this tremendous male he also shot a female lion. Elaine set up a zebra bait at a waterhole and the client took both lions from that bait.
I am returning next year for another shot.

BwanamichCongratulations! I had my chance back in May on those Etosha cattle raiders. I was about 1 week too late and spent 3 days and nights hoping to face one of these brutes....Never caught a glimpse, never heard a roar, saw just one track of a female heading back over the fence. In the 2 weeks prior to my arrival they killed 16 cattle from one ranch and 7 from the other and 1 horse. The farmer managed to kill one lioness.

KUDUBULLThat lion is a great trophy. It is always good to see people with disabilties get out into the country to hunt. And better yet, to have PH's that will cater to them. Nice Job!

MLindsayOle Miss Guy,
Being a twice graduate from LSU not sure if I should even talk to a Rebel!! Hah!
The picture as my post explains is of the Mexican client. I saw several hundred fresh tracks of a huge lion but never found it.
