What Gear do you have way too much of...and don't care?
Hunters love gear, there is no doubt. I have been asking hunters all over this question and some of the responses have been hysterical.
Personally I have way too many knives... I could probably use a different knife everyday for a few months.
Flashlights, I love them all from mini light, to headlamps to spotlights. I just like to have them.
What do you have way too many of?
The danger of civilization, of course, is that you will piss away your life on nonsense
Too much is never enough! At least that’s what I tell my wife.

PeglegI have 3 safes full of guns but since I hunt mostly Elk, it's my 338 mag that I always use so the others just sit in the safe. Can a guy have too many guns?

OverlandI probably have too many tree stands. When there are multiple unopened ones that have sat in my basement for several years, I probably should stop buying more.

DesertRamCoyote calls. I love predator hunting. I love luring them in with a mouth-blown call. I love the close proximity and "uh-oh" expression when I successfully sucker one in nice and close on its own turf. I also love custom, hand-made gear. I am fascinated that some people can take a piece of dead tree, and with their own hands and creative mindset, create a hand call that is both beautiful and highly functional. I can't help but throw money at these guys. I have enough custom hand calls to use a different one on every stand and likely never use the same call twice in a whole year of hunting (maybe two). Last season I made something like 100 stands, so there you have it.

Charles_HelmI'm not sure what "too much" means but as long as I enjoy it there's no such thing.

lavacaPegleg makes a point. My African battery would likely be enough, but it's not. And there are rifles that are scoped and ready that have never been hunted and some that have never been fired or even scoped. Someday.

muttleysgoneI collect knives, and probably have at least 200 of them. Deer rifles are another thing. I can use one at a time, and could use a different rifle every day of Pennsylvania's two week season. And then there is ammunition. I could melt several barrels. When I die, the auction will take awhile.
Most of my money I spent on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted

The older I get, the more I spend on optics, and hearing aids. Next, will be an all terrain walker or scooter. LOL!

I only saw it once, many years ago. I thought it was greatly overrated.
I only remember that one is not supposed to talk about it.

I think I have four various swarovskis, leica, leitz, zeiss, etc. just for binos. I now have a large drawer and half a shelf in the safe with spare scopes from wheeling and dealing different guns. I always try to upgrade both guns and optics, and rarely sell the guns with scope attached.
Books.
Last I counted, I had a library of over three hundred hard cover hunting books from all over the world. Some of the better ones I have probably read 2-3 times, and still have thirty or so I have yet to get to in those cold winter nights!
