DB Bill???? Legal Concession Holders In Zim ????
Is there a "list" somewhere (or any documentation) that shows just what companies hold the concessions on "government" land in Zimbabwe and by that I mean any land where the government, in one form or another, decides who is authorized to conduct safaris?
I'm assuming this is public information and that ZATSO maintains a current list.
Wouldn't it be informative to those of us here if someone could post such a list? The duration of the contracts would also be nice.
Also, someone earlier had ask about breaking US law by hunting with a company where people who had been proscribed by the US Government were involved in it's operation. I know it's a fact of life in contemporary Africa for a Safari Company to have a black partner or partners to "help" get permits/concessions/etc so it would also be nice if the list of companies also included a list of the owners and/or silent partners -- both white & black. I'm sure there's a US Government list somewhere that shows the "bad guys/gals" in Zim (and I'm sure ZATSO knows who they are) so it would also be nice to know if they have "any" involvement with those companies who hold permits/leases/concessions in Zimbabwe.
The preperation of such a list would be a great service to those of us who have hunted in Zimbabwe in the past and who would like to hunt there in the future.

GanyanaI Have actually posted this info for the government concessions earlier this year. Perhaps the moderator would like the list and can make it available when anybody wants to know?
