Michael Moore.
This rather obese gent was on TV in the UK, this morning. He really laid into the Gun owners in the States, and claims responsibility for Q Mart(?) stopping the sale of ammo in their stores.
He played to the gallery here, and got a bit of a heroes reception. The main thrust of his attack was on Gun ownership ,and Bush and Blair's 'war mongering' stance over Iraq.
Who is he ? We must have upset you yanks pretty bad over something for you'll to send him across here.

He is another liberal puke who lampoons those he disagrees with. You may keep him if you don't have enough of those already.

That's whatcha get for that whole burning-the-White-House thing..... [Razz]

Michael Moore is a wind bag piece of shit socialist who's main contribution to American society is as a museum piece. We keep him around to remind ourselves what we hated about the communists.....

He's from the same town as I am. My mom worked for him. He comes across as very folksy and down to earth in his theatrical work. He is actually arrogant and suspicious of everyone around him.

He is a male version of Rosie O'Donnell or Barbra Streisand. A fat, mean, angry, liberal has-been performer.

While I agree with all the above, I must say that "Roger and Me" provides a fascinating look into the socialist mind. The appeal to emotion in that movie is very powerful. I especially like the cuts back and forth between the deputy evicting a family, and the GM Christmas party, both on Christmas eve. Of course, it's completely one-sided. He never even acknowledges that GM built the town to start with!

And for the record, in case it's not clear, I can't stand socialists/marxists/communists etc. Wastes of perfectly good carbon.

Aside from his gun position (which is apparently ridiculous), I like the guy quite a bit. He has a real knack for making people who are the focus of his attacks (ie. Roger Smith (former GM CEO), Phil Knight (Nike CEO), various security guards etc.) look like complete idiots. He does a great job of putting a human face on the true cost of what is supposed to be a costless reallocation of capitalist production factors and often forces people to expose their own hypocrisy (see the Phil Knight section of "The Big One"). He essentially gets Phil Knight to admit that he produces Nike shoes under a genocidal regime in Indonesia (although Knight also admits that he has never actually been there) and yes, the age of his workers in that facility is about 14 years old. [Roll Eyes]
Far from being a has-been performer, he just put out a new film and regularly publishes. I suppose we are to believe HenryC470 accomplishes this on a regular basis but I sincerely doubt it.

May I suggest that no one actually visit this dipshit's website?

His metrics will go up and he can use to show potential advertisers/sponsors/adversaries how popular he is.

John-

Touche'. I suppose "has-been" was taking it a little too far. I haven't been in a major motion picture in the last 52 years myself.

I didnt have a clue to who this guy was until I visited his website. My first and last visit I might add. Sorry George but I had to see what his guy was about for myself even if I do agree with you. I wonder if it would be possible to have him prevented from returning to the US? Just a thought, wishfull thinking at best. God I am tired of liberals and conservatives for that matter who think they know what is best for everybody. That is provided the rules dont apply to them. All I really want is to be left alone. I dont need protection or "security". I can and will make my own decisions good and bad and live with the consequences. I certainly dont want someone else making choices for me even if they "have my best interests at heart", which I severely doubt.

I would say that calling him a liberal is much to conservative. It is my belief that his desire is to wreck the foundations of our economy. He looks as business as his adversary as opposed to seeing them as a mixture of good and bad. His only goal is to make fun of our traditions and institutions. He is another socialist comedian that we as a country have to allow to keep our first ammendment rights alive. Unfourtunately his poisonous attacks have fallen into the conservative mainstream. Maybe he and Al Gore should set up a village with Hillary Clinton as their goddess!

Cheers, Aleko
