Re: TRYING to book Namibia for 2005....
I guess its typical: One moment nobodys answering my mails and the next theyre hitting me right and left!

But Im not complaining!

I now have quite a few operators to work with, its pretty much boiled down to two or three which all have their own qualities. Price may turn out to be the deciding factor as most everyone has good references.

Many thanks to all the AR members whove helped me out!

I must say Im suprised -happy mind you- at the amount of response Ive received in just twelve hours! Many thanks to all of you, youve given me several new options.

I guess youre right about the slowness of response -Im not known for my patience, at least not when it comes to booking a hunt. I do like to check different options though as Im not looking for luxury camps and haute cuisine and am quite happy eating pap and boerewoers for a week if the hunting is good!

Ill be travelling alone next year and wondering about what to do after the hunt? Have any of you just "hit the road" after a hunt, gun case and all?

Ill just (try to) calm down for a week or two now and see what happens.

Does anyone have a working email address to Hentie Van Heerden?

Wendell, you snuck off to Namibia?

Where's the hunt report?

Curt:
Henties email should be ...vhsaf@mweb.com.na
He isn't hunting now and has been prompt in answering me on questions on our taxidermy.

Cewe,

Many smaller outfits are probably out hunting and not able to check emails. This is a busy time of year for them. Some may not even have pricing until October. You'll just have to be patient.
