WHAT A CROC!

Jerry HuffakerWHAT A CROC!
Here's a crocodile I just finished for my friend Gary Sitton(not the writer). He killed it in Zambia with Richard Bellcross. It was just over 14 ft. I thought all you African nuts (like me) would like to see it.

yukon deltaNice. It would be interesting to hear what difficulties you had with such a project. Shipping the thing is going to be tough.

Irish PaulJerry,
I love it!
Is it imprudent to ask for a ballpark per foot price? If so, then no worries!
I would love a full croc mount, but I have no idea as to the amount of work involved.

Aspen Hill AdventuresJerry,
I hope that baboon is properly puckered. I expect you pay such attention to detail?

Jerry HuffakerYukon Delta,
There is a lot of labor involved in a project like this, the most difficult part is altering the form to fit the skin. Luckily I don't have to ship it, the hunter lives here in town. The base comes apart in two pieces so we will just take it down and carry it across town and assemble it in his house.

yukon deltaI'm sure it's not the easiest thing you have done.

Any idea how many hours it took including the baboon?

I don't know how many hours it took, I didn't keep up with it. I just worked on it until it was done.

yukon deltaThanks Jerry. I assume that does not include tanning costs. You do excellent work sir. Keep posting interesting work as you have time.
The video was interesting as the croc starts rolling and then does a backstroke of sorts for a ways. Not a typical shot reaction.
