Leopard Noses
I failed to take detailed photos of my leopard's nose. When I see many of the leopard mounts, the noses seem to me to be too pink. If you have photos of real leopard noses, please post.

Not an extreme close up but maybe you can blow it up a bit to see better.

Now that you mention it, the nose on my leopard is a bit on the pink side.

Scott, Having been a taxidermist, I'm always wanting good reference photo's. This taken from my 3rd Leopard. And yes, most are too "pink" but some are that light, just not all of them. LDK

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

The only big cat I know to have a consistant pink nose is the little clouded leopard which by the way "can" roar although somewhat softly.
