Back skins
Some time ago I ran across a thread/post on someone who was a member of AR (I think out west) that would take your back skins and make pillows out of them for a reasonable price.

I have hunted high and low on AR looking for it. Kind of like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

Anyone recall this thread or post.

Thanks

Trophy Hides Leather made a bunch of stuff for me out of my elephant and buffalo hide, (rifle cases, duffel bags, etc.) and also made pillows for me out of my sable hide. I think they were around $60/pillow.

Andrea at Andrea's Custom Rugs did a great job with a blesbok hide and kudu backskin for me. I got the blesbok hide lined with a leather border, and she made pillows out of the kudu backskin.

Our back skins are coming here within a couple of months. This has given me some ideas.

They do look nice!

This post must have read my mind. First trip to Zim this Sept. I was going to ask-which back skins are worth bringing back and which aren't?
