BaylorRe: Mounts Back from 1st Safari and Going Back
All the mounts were done by Brush Country Studios.
The rug we designed from several of the backhides of Nyala, Zebra, Eland, Impala, Gemsbok, and REd Hartebeest. To spice it up a little bit, the center part Square peice is some elephant skin he had lying around and he cut the African continent out of some of my zebra hide. I think it turned out real well. As a matter of fact, when I went to pick it up, a lady that was in the shop offered me $2000 grand for it.

rufousVery impressive! I love the rug you made out of the hides (with Africa in the middle out of zebra). Who made it? Rufous.

Frank MartinezI especially like your taste in mounts. The pedastals are beautiful and even your 3/4 bear shows real style. Very fine indeed.
I will be anxious to see how you remodel your home after the Buff mounts are ready

30ott6Very nice Baylor. I really like the Zebra. How long from the time of your hunt to getting the final product did it take?
