Saeed....A Question About Your Dakotas.
What specific action did you use in making up your pair of 375/404s? Are they the large "African" model or the standard magnum? What rings?
A friend of mine has a 450 Dakota and is having lots of trouble finding proper rings that will allow him to mount his 1.5-6x Leupold scope. Talley's won't work because the scope's tube isn't long enough to allow the obj. bell to clear the front ring. His 2.5-8x doesn't appear to be any longer, and I know that's what you've been using.

Thats what being a Dad is all about mate I like to get the kids all worked up with ideas then go to work and leave them with Mum At one stage I was teaching my son the name of animals, but all arse about. ie a horse was a cow, dog is a cat, bird was a bat. The little bugger would then argue with his Mum about what the real name was (got found out however and had some explaining to do )

Ahhh I love kids, so gulible

Saeed, sometimes the little apples don't fall far from the tree if you know what I mean. Or maybe it should be that little monsters don't fall far from the tree. My monsters didn't either. Have a nice time with her at the beach. They grow up much too fast. All my monsters are grown and have moved away. Enjoy the moment with the monster. "D"

Bakes,

Her mother says I seem to help her get into michief!

John,

I measured the tubes of both the Leupold 1.75-6 ( I cannot find a 1.5-6)? and 2.5-8

The 2.5-8 has a longer tube by about 0.6 of an inch, may be that is why it fits on mine.
