Is it any good?

30.06kingTerry,
Yes, a couple of weeks ago I went into the ( Hunting ) Hotline for a quick look around. It's probably too early to say how much of a following might form but
considering it's administered by Barbara Crown I thought the layout and presentation quite similar to what she did with Hunting Report. It should add deeper layers of ( more immediate ) hunting intel beyond what's published in Safari Magazine and Safari Times. One thing Hunting Report did was expose shoddy outfitters via negative reports of hunters experiencing bad areas, service and attitudes on their hunts. The right of reply was always given to all involved, sometimes further damning the outfitter, sometimes the opposite. I guess the question is whether these exposes will now be allowed when some controversy involves a big name SCI Safari Show exhibitor.

jdollarThe one thing SCI has NEVER done is expose shoddy outfitters and guides. In fact, they usually give them outfitter of the year awards. There is no intel in the magazine or newspaper- it’s all fluff And advertising.

Hahaha!
Does anyone remember the number of Professional Hunter Of The Year who turned out to be crooks?
In fact, it got so bad, I made a promise to NEVER even consider hunting with anyone winning anything from SCI!
To my knowledge, AR is THE ONLY website which allows complete transparency in hunt reports.
If a client experiences a bad hunt, he can post whatever he wishes.
The professional hunter and outfitter can counter that without ANY involvement from us.
